Every project is different, so pricing is tailored to the specific requirements of each production. Factors such as the complexity of the shoot, location, whether recce days are required, flight permissions, crew requirements, and the level of post-production involved can all affect the final cost. The best way to receive an accurate quote is to get in touch with details about your project, and we'll provide a bespoke proposal based on your needs.

FPV (First Person View) drones are highly specialised aircraft that allow the pilot to fly with a real-time view from the drone's perspective by wearing goggles. Unlike traditional camera drones, FPV drones are designed for dynamic, immersive movements and can fly through tight spaces, around obstacles, and perform complex manoeuvres that would be impossible with conventional platforms.
Operating FPV drones requires a significantly higher level of piloting skill and experience than standard drone operations. We maintain a diverse fleet of FPV aircraft, ranging from small, lightweight drones that can safely operate close to talent and within indoor environments, through to high-performance racing and cinematic drones capable of speeds exceeding 100mph. This flexibility allows us to select the most appropriate platform for every production.
-
A normal camera drone is designed to be highly stable and beginner-friendly. Thanks to GPS and onboard sensors, if you let go of the control sticks the drone will automatically self-level, hold its position, and hover in place, making it relatively easy to fly. FPV drones use a completely different control scheme, often requiring fully manual inputs with little or no stabilization assistance. This makes them significantly harder to learn and control, but once mastered they offer far greater freedom of movement, allowing pilots to perform fast, precise, and highly dynamic maneuvers that enable complex cinematic shots and flight paths that would be difficult or impossible with a traditional drone.

The ideal drone platform depends entirely on the objectives of your project. Factors such as the shooting environment, desired camera movements, image quality requirements, safety considerations, and final delivery format all play an important role in determining the best solution.
We recommend booking a consultation call to discuss your project in detail. Following this conversation, we'll advise on the most suitable aircraft, camera systems, and production approach to achieve the best possible results.

Safety is our highest priority on every production. With over 10 years of drone piloting experience across a wide range of commercial environments, we follow strict operational procedures to ensure every flight is conducted professionally and responsibly.
Comprehensive risk assessments are completed for all projects, and appropriate public liability insurance is provided for every shoot. We also manage any necessary permissions, site assessments, and operational planning to ensure safe and compliant drone operations throughout the production.
-
Yes. We offer a complete in-house post-production service, allowing footage to be professionally stabilised, edited, and delivered ready for use. By managing post-production internally, we can maintain consistency and quality throughout the entire process, from capture through to final delivery.
We also offer optional colour grading in DaVinci Resolve, enabling footage to be matched seamlessly with wider productions or developed into a bespoke cinematic look. Whether you require raw footage, a fully edited film, or a complete FPV flythrough production with sound design, we can provide a tailored solution.

We regularly work on productions throughout the UK and are available for projects across Europe and internationally. Travel requirements vary depending on the location, duration, and logistics of the shoot, but we are experienced in planning and delivering drone operations in a wide range of environments.
If your project is outside your local area, simply get in touch with the details and we can advise on travel arrangements, scheduling, and any associated costs.
As a general guide we price travel at 45p per mile. If it involves long distance flights/travelling we also charge travel days.

In the UK, most commercial drone operations are conducted within the legal altitude limit of 120 metres (400 feet) above ground level. This is sufficient for the vast majority of film, television, commercial, and aerial photography projects. In certain specialist circumstances, permissions may be available for operations outside standard limits, subject to regulatory approval and site-specific requirements.
-
While modern drone platforms are capable of flying several kilometres from the pilot, commercial drone operations in the UK are governed by regulations set by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). In most circumstances, drones must be operated within Visual Line of Sight (VLOS), meaning the aircraft must remain visible to the pilot at all times without the use of binoculars or other visual aids.
As a result, the maximum distance we fly is determined by safety, airspace restrictions, the operating environment, and regulatory requirements rather than the technical limitations of the drone itself. For larger-scale productions requiring extended coverage, we can often reposition pilots, utilise spotters, or plan multiple flight segments to achieve the desired shots while remaining fully compliant with CAA regulations.
-
No. We do not conduct flights directly over crowds or densely populated public gatherings.
UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations place strict limitations on drone operations around uninvolved people and explicitly prohibit flights over assemblies and crowds in standard commercial operations. While certain smaller aircraft may legally operate closer to individuals in specific circumstances, overflight of crowds is not something we offer as part of our operational policy.
Safety remains the highest priority on every production. All flights are carefully planned with appropriate stand-off distances, controlled operating areas, and full risk assessments to ensure compliance with CAA regulations and the safety of everyone on set or at the venue.
Saying this, there are work arounds, such as flying over Mavic 3 Pro Cine platform with a telephoto lens, giving a similar effect in a much safer method.
